Job Title:Assistant Manager HR - HR Operations & Compliance

Job Purpose

The Assistant Manager - HR Operations & Compliance plays a pivotal role within the HR operations team, focusing on data management, compliance, and ensuring seamless HR processes. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date HR data, providing insights through reports and dashboards, collaborating with stakeholders, managing payroll inputs, facilitating critical HR processes, handling audits, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The incumbent will primarily work with Workday for data management and process execution.

Data Management:

  • Maintain and update HR databases with accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure timely and accurate generation of reports and dashboards to provide insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data inputs and ensure data integrity.

Payroll Coordination:

  • Collate and validate payroll inputs from various sources to ensure accuracy.
  • Liaise with finance and payroll teams to facilitate smooth payroll processing.
  • Address payroll-related queries and discrepancies effectively.

Compliance and Process Management:

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
  • Handle critical HR processes such as exit management, background verification, and other employee lifecycle events.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to escalate and address complex HR cases.

System Administration:

  • Manage mass uploads and data migrations in Workday, ensuring data accuracy and system integrity.
  • Provide support for system enhancements, upgrades, and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Conduct user training sessions to enhance Workday proficiency within the HR team.

Communication and Documentation:

  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates.
  • Prepare and distribute annual increment letters and other HR communications accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of HR processes, policies, and procedures.

 

 

Knowledge & Experience

  • Proven experience of 5+ years in HR operations, data management, or related roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of HRIS systems, preferably Workday, and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate meaningful insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certification in HR or related field is a plus.
